hello again...
wow...my weekend was great. friday night i went to my company's party and it was so much fun. i could talk to my friends and some colleagues. and eve the wheather turned out to be not too bad, just once it rained for some minutes! the firework was beautiful!! and "the bosshoss" were so good and made the crowd dance and sing.
saturday night i went to see the improv show in the shake tent and i had a blast together with rob and the others! so nice!
sunday was just chillin' and reading! i like that kinda weekends!
and yesterday was a cool day. i had something to do at work! just imagine that! ;o) my new colleague is real nice. i like her. hopefully i can stay here a bit longer than just till tomorrow. and then i got to know that rob's gonna go to a game of alba with me! :o) that's greatest news these days!! the evening i spent...yeah you already know it...watching an improv show in the admiralspalast!! it was great! they really listened to my advice and changed some things! now it's much more personal!! (thanks barbara!!) and i took my boss with me! she really loved it! that's cool! so i made a good impression ;o) man...billa, you rocked the show!!!

raindrops keep fallin' on my head...
wow...it's friday, i got nothing to do, my company is calebrating the 150th aniversary at the beach and it is raining. actually i wanted to go there tonight and watch the concert and light show and stuff. it could have been wonderful at the beach. but now there is rain, rain and rain. it was raining when i got up today, it's raining now and i guess it will be raining tonight. damn...what kinda summer is that?! we had a real hot june where everybody was melting away and july was nice too. and now we just have rain!
maybe i'm going to see an improv show instead if it will not stop raining.

wednesday...still 2 days of work left.
here i am again...got nothing to do at work and so i am waiting for work. yesterday my boss told me i'm gonna work in another office for a few days, starting monday. actually i am looking forward to it even though it is no work to think about, but just doing easy things. at least i will have some work to do. and that's better than now.
i still don't know what topic i'll be writing my report about. i really don't know :o/ hopefully i'll find a nice one soon, so that i could work on that.
monday evening was a desaster: i went to see the theatresports show. but it was sold out and i nearly didn't get any ticket. that made me crazy!!! and actually rob wanted to show me the new theatre...but he just forgot about it and didn't hear his mobile. and next thing is that it is way too much distance between actors and audience. there's no chance of getting a little chat with the actors. and that's one of the reasons i just go to see them. you know?! and there is just no chance. none! damn...what a night!
really hope it might change soon. otherwise i'll think about going there that often :o(
so all in all a more negative entry here. but don't worry...i'm not like that all the time ;o)

new week...
well, i just finished a great weekend. i really had a blast. starting on friday i went to the ratibor and watched an improv show where i laughed so much!! billa was so cool. and in the second half rob was joining me and we were joking around a lot. saturday night i saw a show again, but in the shake tent where rob played the keyboard. it was so much fun!
and the other great event is the basketball world championship that takes place in japan at the moment: germany won the first two games against japan and new zealand. unfortunately serbia and france lost. but we'll see! i am not too sure which team i am cheering for next to germany. but today at 9 a.m. my guys will play against spain which might be the toughest game of preliminary round! i am really excited. but unfortunately i can't watch it on tv, cuz i am at work doing some nice accounting :o/
but i am going to be in the admiralspalast again tonight where rob will show me around all the rooms and stuff.

last day of the week :o)
now finally it's friday and i nearly finished another week full of work...at least more or less full of work. from monday till thursday i spent most of the time in the archive to rearrange and gather folders and folders and folders. terrible work, i can tell you! but for today i have to prepare some tables. that's much more comfortable with me.
and tonight i'm gonna see an improv show in the ratibor, i think. but i'll decide that spontaneously tonight.

theatresports finally moved to admiralspalast!
alright...yesterday we had the first show in the rebuilt admiralspalast (former metropol theater). first of all: wow!! what a theatre! the main stage is for 1200 people and its wonderful. but after leaving the shake tent theatresports now is on a small stage and will move again into another bigger room before finally staying in the "studio" with the beginning of next year. the small room was...well...improv?! in the morning everything was full of stuff, no stage, nothing. in the evening the sound equipment didn't work at first and there were to many sold seats...so that rob, his wife, me and some others had to sit on the floor. but we had a blast!! to be honest...the room was crap. but the show was brilliant! we laughed the whole time and made jokes while watching! it was great!!!
i am really interested in how it will develop with their new stage. unfortunately the prices are too high to go there as often as i was going in the shake tent. so if anybody of you (billa, rob, beate, barbara, ramona, tom, guido...) reads this: get me some free tickets, please! i am dying without theatresports!!!!

another week is gone.
and still i don't like my new work. accounting is really not my cup of tea. i don't know...there is not much work to do in the office and i can't get to know my colleagues, there's too much distance between the people. hopefully it might change soon cuz i have to stay there till november. and i guess a bit of fun should be there. right?

ALBA cuts Mazeika!
i don't know why! ALBA is going to lend him the Telekom Baskets Bonn. why???? so now it's official: martynas will be playing in bonn for this season because alba lends him. now all my favourite players are gone: jörg lütcke, marko pesic, stephen arigbabu, szymon szewczyk, luke whitehead and martynas mazeika.
and if you wanna know why...they signed german national player johannes herber who plays martas position. but if you ask me herber isn't as good as marta! now i am real sad. he was the only one i was REALLY (and i mean really) looking forward to. i've known him for 2 years now and i think we got along with eachother pretty well.
i even made a website for him (http://www.smartymarty.de.am) and now everything is over? i'm gonna miss him so much! and i really hate alba for doing this.

Marty...if you ever read this: THANKS for everything! you really helped alba a lot! you're a huge part of this team and i'll miss you like hell!! so please don't forget me and let's stay in contact!!!

bye bye shake tent!!

yesterday there was the last theatresports show in the wonderful shake tent in berlin. theatresports will move to new admiralspalast next monday. and even their saturday night show "eine kommt durch" will stop on september 30th. so there won't be improv in the tent. actually i am a bit sad about it. since i got to know improv in that tent i will miss it so much.
so i wanted to say good-bye to the tent and to all of the people working there: uta, wiebke, raimund and all the others. thanks for everything.

Italy wins supercup 2006

after the 2 days' tournament in berlin germany lost the finals of basketball supercup 2006 against italy (parallels between soccer and basketball are obvious) and just got 2nd place. france lost its last game against turkey and turkey is in 3rd place. all the nba stars weren't in that good shape, but it was real cool seeing them all in real and not just on tv. all in all it was a great weekend full of basketball. i missed it!
and 4 of the most popular german players celebrated their farewell. thank you guys: stephen arigbabu, marko pesic, jörg lütcke, denis wucherer! THANKS!

basketball supercup 2006
yep...that event will take place this weekend in berlin and i am so much looking forward to it. after that long off season break it's the first game i'm gonna watch. nations taking part are: turkey, italy, france and germany (with german wunderkind dirk nowitzki)! going to be great. i think! this small tournament is supposed to prepare the guys for world championship in august! we'll see who's in shape already!

that's what i am going to do till november. and know what? i don't like it! but that's life and i have to do what i have to do! now it's my second day here and it is more than boring! hopefully that will change soon. keep your fingers crossed for me!

alright...i guess that's it. my vacations are pretty much over now. tomorrow i will have to start working again. that will be 4 months of total stress. but i am really excited to see what's gonna happening then. i've never been in this part of a company and maybe it's not too boring ;o) we'll see. but to be honest i'd prefer some more days off.
